Church here is special, there is so much difference between the churches here and in Holland. People here make a big party of church with a lot of dancing and singing. In the speeches we've be thanked several times by pastor Mozes. People here are so grateful to have us and give us so much love, it's unbelievable. After the service we were treated like celebrities, everyone wanted to take a picture with us! Even the big mama's, they wanted to show the pictures to their boss. It's not often that white people visit their church.
After the service we went to Kevin and Louise's place. They are also volunteers for Thamsanqa. Every weekend they take a few children from the project home with them so that they can swim in there pool and relax a little. It's amazing to see that those children immediatly love you and accept you. And that even though they have only known you for a few hours, they already fall asleep on your lap while hugging them.
In the evening we went to Boardwalk. It's a very big shopping mall with different parts connected by bridges over water. There are a lot of palm trees planted and there are fountains everywhere. We ate our dinner at Antonio's a lovely Italien restaurant.
Tommorow we'll start working at the project Thamsanqa, I can't wait!
Greetings from South-Africa!
