After a wonderful 2 and a half week in South-Africa i'm back in Holland! I like it to see my parents again but I would have loved to stay longer!
What I can definitely say is that South-Africa hasn't been out of my mind for one moment. I keep thinking about my beautiful, inspiring, confronting but most of all amazingly fun time in SA!!
I learned so much about what really matters in life, not all those materialistic things about what most of the people I know care, but about love and caring for each other. It doesn't matter in which kind of house you live, what the color of your skin is, what you eat for dinner, what kind of language you speak, how old you are, which kind of clothes you wear, loving each other and helping the people who need help is so important!
I loved all the children of Thamsanqa and I really hope I can see them again!
I really want to thank Peter and Daphne for taking care of me so much, I really love you! Peter with his always inspiring and funny stories and Daphne with her alway smart advises. You are like a grandma and grandpa to me!!
I also want to thank Tia and Louise for taking us in to their project and let us met all their kids. All the children were lovely and they were definitely one of the main reasons my stay was so lovely!
Anneke and Thijmen, also thank you for taking me on such a journey, without you I would never had been allowed to go over to SA!
The very last persons I want to thank are my mom and dad for letting me go to South-Africa!
I really hope I can come back one day and I then hope I can stay longer!
